2025 Wrapped: A Year of Growth, Gratitude and What’s Ahead for 2026

As 2025 comes to a close, we’ve been reflecting on a year filled with growth, connection and meaningful career moments shared with our clients, candidates and colleagues. While it’s easy to get caught in the rush towards the end of the year, at Amicus we wanted to pause, celebrate the wins, acknowledge the challenges and express our gratitude to the people who make what we do so rewarding.

A Year of Growth

This year, we saw the legal industry evolve in powerful ways, and we grew alongside it. Some of the highlights include:

  • Welcoming new clients across boutique, mid-tier and national firms
  • Supporting legal professionals at all levels, from law graduates and legal support teams to senior lawyers and partners
  • Expanding our team to better connect the right people with the right opportunities
  • Celebrating a major milestone, Amicus Legal turning 11 years old!

Every placement, introduction and partnership has mattered to us, but above all, it is the trust behind these relationships that we value most.

Gratitude for Our Community

To our clients: thank you for trusting us to understand your teams, culture and long-term goals. Your confidence in us is something we never take for granted.

To our candidates: thank you for sharing your aspirations and allowing us to play a part in your career journey, whether it was your first move or your most significant one yet.

What 2025 Taught Us

Every year brings lessons, and this one has been no different. Some of our biggest takeaways:

  • Relationships matter more than ever. Meaningful recruitment is personal, not transactional
  • Flexibility wins. With hybrid work, evolving firm structures and shifting priorities, adaptability is key
  • Exceptional talent is always in demand, regardless of market conditions, firms continue to invest in exceptional people
  • Career growth doesn’t follow a calendar. Opportunities can arise unexpectedly, and being prepared makes all the difference

Looking Ahead to 2026

We look to 2026 with purpose and optimism. In the new year, we will continue to:

  • Support both firms and individuals with honest, relationship-focused recruitment
  • Share market insights, salary data and industry trends to support informed decision-making
  • Grow our networks and deepen our contribution to the legal community
  • Champion balance, wellbeing and sustainable career development in the profession

Thank You

As we wrap up 2025, our message is simple: thank you. Thank you for your trust, your support and for being part of the Amicus Legal story. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together this year and excited for what’s ahead in 2026.

Wishing you a safe, happy and restorative holiday season.
